"The Uber of Private Jets" Is a Real Thing

In case you were having too much trouble sweeping the diamonds from the crevices in your landline phone dial to book that next private jet, here's an app. BlackJet—a way of "instantly booking private jets," says TechCrunch—wants to help. Don't even bother clicking that link to BlackJet, because it won't let you in, because you are poor.

It's no coincidence that a co-founder of bougie ferry Uber and one of its investors are behind BlackJet: they'll both cater to those who hate to wait. TechCrunch describes BlackJet's new plane-booking app as "efficient," "less expensive" (than what, hovercrafts?), "ultra-simple," "fast" (like a jet). TechCrunch's founder, Michael Arrington, is of course an investor in BlackJet.
