Sean Parker Defends His Wedding: He Only Spent FOUR Million Dollars

In an email to The Atlantic's Alexis Madrigal, Parker attempts an apologia. You see, there wasn't any ancient redwood damage—or "at least none that [Parker is] aware of." Stirring. And the budget? Not $10 million:

All of the numbers that have been released were total fabrications (this $9 million number of instance) and are WAY off base. I will say, against my better instinct to tell you, that we spent roughly $4.5 million on prepping the site

So lay off, vultures! He was just trying to have a $4.5 million wedding with its own organizational LLC like any other Joe Laptop.
